FOH Duty Manager

SUMMARY:

Looking for an experienced and dynamic Front Office Duty Manager for a Game Lodge in Limpopo. The successful candidate should have at least 3 years relevant experience within a 4/5 Star Hotel and will be responsible to assist with the daily operation of the Front Office and staff management.
Skills / Requirements:
Must have a formal hospitality qualification with at least 3 years experience as a duty manager within a 4/5 star Hotel.
Computer literate: must be proficient on Opera and Micros
Must be able to successful manage, train and motivate a team
Must have excellent guest relations and communications skills
Must have in-depth knowledge in FOH and Accommodation
Must have excellent guest relations skills

POSITION INFO:

1. Education:
   
   • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
   • Certification in Front Office Management or Hotel Operations (advantageous).
2. Experience:
   
   • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in front office operations at a 4- or 5-star hotel.
   • At least 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role within the front office.
3. Technical Skills:
   
   • Proficiency in hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, Protel, or similar).
   • Knowledge of reservations processes and room inventory management.
   • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools (advantageous).
4. Languages:
   
   • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
   • Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish, or local languages) is an asset.

   • Deep understanding of check-in, check-out, and reservation procedures.
   • Knowledge of concierge services, including local attractions and amenities.
   • Awareness of safety, security, and emergency protocols in a hotel environment.
