SUMMARY:
A Dynamic Clothing Manufacturer and Supplier is seeking a Fabric & Trims Buyer/Inventory Controller for their busy CMT operation, based in Pinetown (Durban).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities

Manage the fabric & trims store and inventory of such (stock in & out).
Receive fabric & trims orders from Coordinators
Process and follow up with suppliers on all orders, ensuring accurate and on time delivery.
Receive all fabric & trims stock from suppliers
Check all stock received is correct and record inventory accordingly (accuracy).
Issue fabric & trims to CMT according to PO's and record inventory accordingly (accuracy).
Liaise with staff and suppliers on all fabric & trims related queries.

Requirements

1-2 years’ experience in fabric and trims for local CMT manufacture (fashion/clothing).
Must be very organised and systematic.
Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
Computer literate including proficiency in Excel and Email
Excellent communication, including dealing with staff and suppliers/customers.
Good with following up and ensuring orders are effectively managed.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Friendly, positive ‘can do’ attitude and a team player.
