SUMMARY:
Sandton. National supplier of a range premium local and international fabrics and wallpapers to the Interior Design industry seeks experienced stock controller to order, co-ordinate and mange stock levels. Own transport plus experience working on Pastel Inventory system is essential.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Placing stock orders with both local and overseas suppliers
Consolidating weekly shipments and liaising with freight partners to ensure maximum efficiency
Pulling daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports to monitor and manage stock levels
Coordinating daily with other divisions regarding stock availability, reserves, back orders, and dye-lots
Creating codes and categories for incoming stock on the Pastel system
Checking incoming stock against the master sample for quality and accuracy
Sending out weekly reports on incoming stock and back order status
Handling and resolving supplier complaints in a timely manner
Managing and overseeing a team of 8 warehouse staff members

Requirements:

Own transport is essential
Previous experience working with the Pastel Inventory system
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
