Fabrication Workshop Supervisor

SUMMARY:
Our client, a prestigious turnkey engineering and steel works fabrication company, seeks to employ a qualified and experienced Workshop Supervisor, with a solid background in the steel fabrication / engineering sector to join their team in Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:
KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You will have completed a recognised trade test as a Pipe Fitter or Boilermaker, coupled with 5+ years of experience in a steel works and fabrication workshop, specifically leading a team of artisans.
• You will have a proven track record in monitoring production, fit-up and fabrication process, as well as meeting international quality standards and non-conformance issues.
• You will have proven experience in creating job cards, allocating projects to teams, drafting reports for management and troubleshoot defects and providing solutions to the teams.
• Sound knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ASME standards.
• You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
