POSITION INFO:
FACILITIES SUPERVISOR – EAST LONDON
Basic Position Requirements:
- Grade 12 + relevant supervisory experience
- Experience in facilities and maintenance management
- Computer literate
- Experience in the property industry will be advantageous
- Hold a valid driver's license
KPA’s:
- Ensuring that all building systems, equipment and facilities in their charge operate at peak efficiency
- Responsible for providing technical and managerial support to the operations manager pertaining to the maintenance of the East London portfolio.
- Ensures operational budget adherence, management of soft services and other service providers on site.
- Ensures reliable and safe continuous operation in accordance with the statutory requirements and regulations in the building/equipment under his/her control.
- Planning and monitoring of projects, ensuring service providers/ contractors work effectively and timeously.
- Oversee asset management/inventory by monitoring stock levels and ordering required supplies.
