Facilities Supervisor - Maintenance - Robben Island

SUMMARY:
A well-established company is seeking to appoint a Facilities Supervisor - Maintenance (12-month fixed term contract)

The purpose is to perform a supervisory role in directing the maintenance of all RIM facilities to ensure preventative maintenance along with emergency repairs of all premises & equipment with adherence to Occupational Health and safety procedures and monitor/ assess day to day maintenance and projects delivery by relevant contractors and in-house maintenance team.

POSITION INFO:
Qualification:

• A bachelor's degree or national diploma in Facilities Management or related fields, such as building management, including project management certification.

• Minimum of 3 years -experience in a facilities management.
• Knowledge of safety regulations
• Knowledge of OHSA
• Computer Literacy
• Awareness of Heritage operating norms and standards
• General Health and Safety awareness
• Department of Public Works regulations
• Disaster and Safety regulations
• Environmental regulations
