SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro)chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a Facility Supervisor to join their team in the Netherlands.

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Facility Supervisor
Location: Netherlands
Salary: To be discussed in the Interview
Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

Diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2 - 10 years of supervisory experience in facility operations.
Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

Beneficial requirements:

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
Proficiency in facility management software and MS Office.

Duties and responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will ensure efficient functioning and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and related services.

Supervise facility operations and staff, ensuring all systems and equipment function optimally.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
Coordinate building repairs, renovations, and service requests.
Manage budgets, contracts, and schedules for facility projects.
Respond to emergencies and implement contingency plans.
