SUMMARY:
Farm Administrator- Mooi River

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An established farming operation outside of Mooi River requires a mature and competent Administrator. The working hours are 7am to 4:30 daily. Transport is available form Mooi River to the farm if necessary.
 
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
  • Managing supplier admin- printing invoices, following up on purchase orders, collating delivery notes and making sure quantities match, allocating purchases on Pastel and Pastel processing.
  • Staff/ HR admin- ordering of uniforms, updating HR files, record keeping
  • Assisting with payroll on Pastel Payroll
  • Record keeping and data capture- updating animal husbandry and health information
  • Ensuring all vehicle licenses are up-to-date.
 
Requirements:
  • Matric
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Proven administration ability (at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal English)
  • Good general computer literacy
  • Accurate and able to pay attention to detail
  • excellent phone manner and confident in dealing with suppliers and handling queries
  • Must be willing to learn
  • Currently residing in Mooi River.
