Farm Manager (Beef) - Queenstown / Bailey

Farm Manager required for company in the meat industry based in either Queenstown or Bailey. 

You will responsible for management of a 4000-5000 hectare farm with a total head of cattle of 1000 including Stud Brahman, and will also work with the farm team to ensure smooth operations on farm.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the managing wellbeing of livestock
• Managing veldt, fire breaks, stock water & fencing
• Dehorning, castrating, dosing, vaccinating & dipping
• Managing staff
• Assist other properties as required (e.g. fires, extra manpower etc)
• Any other business requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years managing beef farm
• Ability to artificially inseminate (AI) preferred
• Divers License
• Fluent in Xhosa and English
• Willingness to relocate to Elliot (accommodation provided)
• Diploma in Agriculture
• Matric certificate
