Fiberglass Technician – Motorhome Repair Specialist

POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a semi-skilled/skilled Fiberglass Technician specializing in the repair of motorhome/caravan/boat panels. The ideal candidate should have mid-level qualifications, and you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged fiberglass panels on motorhomes. Your role will ensure the panels maintain both their structural integrity and aesthetic quality. You’ll work with various fiberglass materials, tools, and techniques to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and assess damaged fiberglass panels on motorhomes.
Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces for repair.
Apply fiberglass materials, including resin, gelcoat, and matting, to damaged areas.
Utilize techniques to repair, shape, and mold fiberglass panels.
Sand, grind, and polish repaired areas for a smooth, high-quality finish.
Collaborate with team members and management to meet project deadlines.
Job Requirements
Matric Certificate
A valid Drivers License
Minimum 2 years of experience in fiberglass repair, preferably within the automotive or marine industry
Strong understanding of fiberglass materials and repair techniques.
Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
A good command of the English Language
