SUMMARY:
CAP Field Collection Officer

POSITION INFO:

Conduct full-scale investigations of incidents from beginning to end, ensuring that all aspects are thoroughly examined.
Providing comprehensive feedback and evidence to law enforcement where relevant and required.
Provide detailed feedback to clients, victims, and other stakeholders regarding developments in their cases.
Liaise with SAPS at designated SAPS stations (build relationships, attend all meetings, etc.).

Collect and verify information at the scene of a crime (including CCTV video footage)
Communicate with and debrief all victims, witnesses, security guards and others at the scene of a crime.
Gain tactical understanding of the incident.

Reporting back to management on cases and investigations
Compile incident report
Analyse reports
Conduct Staff Vetting
Submit statements and testify in court if necessary

Other projects on an ad-hoc basis as stipulated by management

EXPERTISE AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

Matric (Minimum)
Tertiary Education (Advantageous)
Computer literate (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
PSIRA Registered
