SUMMARY:
The company launched a fiber internet project to bring affordable, high-speed fiber connections to densely populated areas. Their innovative "pay-as-you-go" model allows users to purchase vouchers for uncapped internet by time rather than data, making it accessible even to low-income households.

POSITION INFO:

We are seeking a Field Solutions Specialist, a dynamic individual who combines technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills. This role involves regular site visits, strategy implementation, and running Proof of Concepts (POCs) to enhance service delivery. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, solution-focused, and possess a high level of emotional intelligence. Comfort working in diverse environments, including townships, is crucial.
 
Skills & Experience: 
Conduct site visits to assess operational issues and recommend improvements.
Oversee the implementation of strategies on-site.
Run POCs for new strategies or technologies.
Analyze feedback and make recommendations for scaling or modification.
Develop and present training sessions for contractors and service providers.
Conduct weekly quality checks on home installations and process contractor invoices.
Monitor and improve the quality of home installations.
Experience in Fiber Network Operators (FNO) or telecommunications is a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to manage intricate details while maintaining focus on overall goals.
Ability to work and travel in various township environments.
 
Qualification:
Engineering qualification
Proficiency in Xhosa, Sotho, Tswana, or Zulu is required.
