Finance Assistant

Reputable company based in Durban is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team.

Qualifications and experience:

• Grade 12
• Accounting degree or diploma
• At least 3 years finance experience
• MS Office (Word, Advanced Excel & Outlook)
• SAP Business One experience is an advantage

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for local and foreign currency accounts
• General control account reconciliations and allocations
• Issue and reconcile petty cash
• Maintain fixed asset register
• General adhoc requests and admin tasks to assist finance department

Personal qualities and competencies:

• Attention to detail, with strong analytical ability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently, without direct supervision and fit in well within a
• multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to organize and manage multiple daily priorities
