The Finance Intern will support the Finance Department by performing various accounting tasks

Job Overview:
The Finance Intern will support the Finance Department by performing various accounting and financial tasks. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
Support the team in compiling and analyzing financial statements.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Help with the processing of invoices and payments.
Assist in managing accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.

Data Entry:

Enter financial data into accounting software accurately and timely.
Maintain and update financial records and documents.

Reconciliation:

Assist in reconciling bank statements and financial transactions.
Help ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are investigated.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

Support the team in preparing budgets and forecasts.

Compliance:

Help ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.

Administrative Support:

Provide general administrative support to the Finance Department.
Assist in the preparation of financial presentations and reports

EXPERIENCE

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Previous internship or related experience in finance or accounting is advantageous but not required.

Skills:

Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
