Responsibilities:

• Supervise finance shared services activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury operations
• Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities and adherence to financial deadlines
• Maintain financial controls and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, tax regulations, and internal policies
• Implement process improvements enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax laws, and company policies
• Work closely with procurement and project management teams to ensure smooth invoices approvals, vendor payments, and contract compliance
• Monitor key financial metrics and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Ensure workload distribution and backup planning to maintain business continuity
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and working capital reports for senior management
• Provide insights on financial trends, risks, and opportunities to support business decision-making. 
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing relevant financial data
• Ad hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• BCom in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualifications (preferred)
• Min of 5 years of experience in finance shared services, preferably in an EPCM or project-based environment
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Similar) and finance automation tools
• Experience with MS Office and MS Excel
• Experience with multi-currency transactions, tax regulations, and intercompany accounting
• Knowledge of engineering/ construction project accounting principles is an asset
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
