A Motor Dealership based in George is looking to appoint a F&I Manager.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, have a thorough understanding of financial products and services, and be dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all finance and insurance operations within the dealership.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to maximize finance and insurance sales and profitability.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring a smooth and transparent sales process.
- Offer finance and insurance products and services to customers, including vehicle financing, extended warranties, and insurance policies.
- Conduct credit checks and review financial documents to determine customer eligibility for financing.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with financial institutions and insurance providers on behalf of customers.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory finance and insurance operations requirements.
- Train and mentor sales team members on finance and insurance processes and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to finance and insurance transactions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in financial regulations.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of finance, insurance processes, and regulations.
- NQF 4 Retail or Short-Term Insurance Qualification with a minimum of 120 FAIS Credits.
- RE Accreditation.
- NCA Accreditation.
- CPD Hours are up to Date for all Cycles.
- Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle legislation, trade practices, dealership policies and procedures.
- Must be able to perform against Targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and guide a team towards achieving sales targets.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, with the ability to analyze data and generate reports.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A customer-centric approach, with a commitment to delivering outstanding service and satisfaction.
- Valid driver's license.
