Financial & Admin Controller

SUMMARY:
A leading supplier of high-quality cotton products, specialising in the global textile industry, is seeking an exceptional Finance and Admin Controller to drive the organization’s financial health and operational efficiency. The position is based in Boksburg.

POSITION INFO:
This role will oversee the company’s administrative operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, streamlined procurement processes, and the effective management of stock, creditors, and debtors.

Stock Accountability:
Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations.
Implement and maintain inventory control systems to minimise discrepancies and losses.
Procurement:
Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Ensure timely procurement of all raw materials and procured stock
Creditors and Debtors Management:
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
Ensure timely payment of invoices and collection of receivables.
Conduct credit assessments and manage credit limits for customers.
Internal Controls and Compliance:
Develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Collaborate with all other departments to ensure compliance, efficiency and effectiveness
Prepare monthly reports accurately and on time.

REQUIREMENTS
Preferably available at short notice.
Resident of the Eats Rand.
Matric with 2 to 5 years' experience in the manufacturing industry.
Own car and driver's license.
Preferably bilingual in both English and Afrikaans.
