Drive Success in Global Markets: A Financial Accountant with Export Experience is Wanted!

POSITION INFO:
A reputable fruit farming and distribution company, serving international markets, is offering a permanent position for a highly motivated and proactive Financial Accountant with experience in the export sector. The ideal candidate will possess a solid accounting background, a thorough understanding of international trade, and the ability to work independently. If you are a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for numbers, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing company.

Duties:

Manage and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Oversee export-related financial transactions, including foreign exchange, duties, and taxes.
Coordinate with international clients, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for export operations.
Ensure the timely reconciliation of accounts and the resolution of discrepancies.
Provide support during audits and regulatory inspections.
Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and international trade regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting, with a strong preference for export-related experience.
Solid understanding of export processes, international trade, and foreign currency management.
Completed articles is an advantage.
