JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, an NPO social enterprise with a great initiative seeks a dynamic Financial Accountant to join their team. Lovely opportunity for a qualified CA(SA) or similar qualified accountant who enjoys working in a high standard and fast-paced environment, and one that allows you to bring your skill set to a team that supports a great purpose! Responsibilities

  • Financial statements and audits
  • Finance and treasury management
  • Budgets and forecasts
  • Contract and procurement management
  • Full admin function of the accounting system
  • Managing of core finance team, managing of all team deadlines
  • Monthly accounts close and roll over including year-end close.
  • Assist with ad hoc finance projects

Requirements

  • Minimum of a qualified CA(SA), ACCA or AGA or similar
  • Minimum of 2 years accounting work experience and previous experience in the NPO/ social impact space, an advantage
  • Advanced MS Office proficiency and advanced Pastel Accounting proficiency essential, with Caseware an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical thinker
  • A good team player with excellent relationship building skills
  • High attention to detail
