Our client in the Western Cape is seeking a young finance graduate to join their team.

In this role you will be responsible for working at two plants located in and around Elsies Rivier, ensuring the accurate storage, handling, and inventory management in line with company procedures. This role specifically focuses on overseeing stock intake and investigating any discrepancies or variances throughout the inventory process.

Duties:

• Responsible for the control of all product inventories from internal and external suppliers according to company processes and procedures.
• Ensure accurate and adequate labelling and positioning of all labels.
• Orchestrating all paperwork to creditors department on stock intakes (On-and offsite locations).
• Weekly stocktaking (including the posting of stock batches) of all dry goods / consumables and product inventory according to agreed SOP’s.
• Weekly and monthly reconciliations of inventory movements and investigating all discrepancies / deviances to implement corrective actions.
• Weekly and monthly reporting of inventory movements and variances.
• Recognising and reporting on patterns and trends in weekly and monthly inventory movements and variances.
• Serve as finance support to the Plant Manager and Analyst team.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Finance / BCom Accounting / BCom Cost and Management
• BCom Honours

• 2 Years inventory control experience will be beneficial.
• 1 -2 Years supervisory experience will be beneficial.

• Good written and verbal communication.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be open-minded and eager to learn.
