POSITION INFO:

Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Analyst to support our Energy investment team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial analysis, transaction support, and portfolio management within the Energy sector. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for renewable energy investments.

What to Expect:

Financial Analysis & Modelling

• Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis to evaluate energy investment opportunities
• Perform due diligence, market research, and financial assessments to support investment decisions
• Monitor and update financial models to reflect portfolio performance and market conditions

Deal Origination & Execution

• Assist in preparing credit applications and investment proposals
• Conduct risk assessments and affordability evaluations for new transactions
• Support structuring and negotiation of financial agreements

Portfolio & Transaction Monitoring

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date transaction records and portfolio data
• Conduct regular reviews of active transactions, including desktop valuations and risk assessments
• Support treasury functions, including reviewing drawdown schedules and cash flow forecasts
• Track site repairs and insurance coverage to ensure operational efficiency and risk mitigation

Fund Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare and review monthly fund reports for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and industry standards
• Work closely with the finance and operations teams to enhance reporting processes

What You'll Bring:

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• CFA, CA(SA), or equivalent qualification is advantageous
• 1 – 3 years of experience in financial analysis, investment research, or transaction support
• Experience in the energy, infrastructure, or financial services sector is preferred
• Strong understanding of financial modelling, credit analysis, and risk assessment
