JOB DESCRIPTION:

An exciting opportunity exists at my client who specializes in property investments based in their offices in the Southern Suburbs.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Ad hoc investor reconciliations, queries and requests for information (E.g annual due diligence, ESG, etc.)
  • Monthly cash flow management
  • Implementation of any new or changes to bank and shareholder funding
  • Tracking of loan covenants
  • Annual audit - preparation of information for external auditors, audit queries
  • Perform ECL calculations (IFRS 9) for management review
  • Review of payment requisitions and vendor masterfile
  • Review of month end deliverables
  • Review of monthly payroll schedules
  • Insurance renewals
  • Analyses and reporting as required
  • Assist Operations and Analytics team with financial related tasks and queries
  • Secretarial/Compliance Secretarial administration, assist with compliance to Memorandum of Incorporation, Companies Act, etc.
  • Board Meetings/Investor Presentations Collation of information and assistance with preparation of presentations
  • Truckstops (Fund)

  • Assist with financial models as required
  • Review of payment requisitions and vendor masterfile
  • Secretarial/Compliance Secretarial administration, assist with compliance to Memorandum of Incorporation, Companies Act, etc.
  • Admin Assist with property acquisitions, disposals, developments and capex projects paperwork as required
  • Operational administrative paperwork - applications, renewals, etc. as required
  • Manco/Fund Manager
  • Financial Assist with cash flow management and budgets
  • Annual audit - preparation of information for external auditors, audit queries
  • Review of payment requisitions and vendor masterfile
  • Review of month end deliverables
  • Secretarial/Compliance Secretarial administration, assist with compliance to Memorandum of Incorporation, Companies Act, etc.
  • Assist with FSCA submissions and queries
  • Assist with queries from Compliance Officer
  • Maintenance of compliance records (registers, policies, submissions, etc.)
  • Assist with the roll out of the company's BBBEE action plan, monitoring compliance thereof, maintenance of information
  • Board Meetings/Investor Presentations Collation of information and assistance with preparation of presentations
  • Ad Hoc/Other
  • There is an expectation to perform project-based work which will be given with the requisite instruction
  • Management of junior staff members in the Finance & Admin team

Requirements:

  • Education University degree in Accounting. Honours advantageous
  • Experience 5 years relevant/similar experience
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - required
  • Experience in the property industry, financial services sector or fund/asset management - advantageous
  • Experience in managing junior staff - advantageous
  • Other Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive, results-driven, ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work under pressure
