POSITION INFO:

My client is a reputable financial advisory firm specializing in a comprehensive range of services, including Wills, Estates, Discovery Medical Aid, Investments, Short-Term Insurance, and Vitality products.

They are seeking a dedicated Financial Planning Assistant to join their established team. The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to our financial advisor, ensuring seamless business transactions and exceptional client service.?

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the financial advisor with daily activities, including maintaining calendars, preparing correspondence, and providing customer service
• Prepare and review new account paperwork and ensure all client documentation is accurate and up-to-date
• Manage and resolve client service requests related to service offerings.?
• Prepare preliminary financial planning recommendations and product solutions for advisor review to be used in client meetings and / or submit to client when required
• Create charts, graphs, tables, and other visual aids to support client presentations and implementation meetings. ?
• Develop product solution recommendations with advisors that align with clients’ risk tolerance and time horizons, ensuring the right product deliverables
• Review and update client data and analysis for meetings
• Use CRM systems to manage client records, track interactions, and initiate and complete tasks efficiently

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Experience with Advisor 360 and CRM systems, particularly atWork, is highly beneficial.?
• Experience working with Discovery Medical Aid and Short-Term Insurance products is essential.?
• Possession of RE5 certification and FAIS credits would be an advantage.?
• Strong organizational and communication skills.?
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.?
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.?

Salaray estimation: Between R15,000 – R17,000 per month (depending on experience)?

Working Hours: 07:30 – 16:00, Monday to Friday?

Start Date: As soon as possible?

Languages Required: English and Afrikaans (essential due to client base)?

Transportation: Own transport required (preferably own vehicle to and from work)?
