SUMMARY:
Our client in the Forestry sector is looking to employ X2 Fitter & Turners to join their team situated near Mthatha in the Eastern Cape.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Specifications:
  • Must have a matric certificate or NTC 3 qualification
  • Trade test certificate in the trade of Fitter & Turner
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ post apprentice experience in a production environment
  • Knowledge of the Sawmill and Forestry industry would be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of Hydraulics & Pneumatics, boiler & steam application
  • Knowledge of variable speed gearboxes, overhead cranes, PLC`s and electronics

  • High level of commitment to accuracy, quality and attention to detail.
  • Good and effective communication at all levels.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a team.
