POSITION INFO:
A well known and established client situated in Zwelitsha is looking for a qualified Fitter to join their team.
The successful candidate must be able to work in Power Station so will need pressure vessel experience. they would need to perform mechanical installations and modifications, as well as preventative maintenance on machinery in an industrial environment.
The following requirements must be met:
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years working experience as a Fitter on mechanical installations
and maintenance on equipment such as:
1. Pumps
2. Rotating Equipment
3. Gearboxes
4. Hydraulics & Pneumatics
- Must have a minimum N3 Technical Qualification and passed a recognised Trade Test.
- Must have preferably served a Fitter apprenticeship.
- Arc, Mig and Tig welding would be advantageous.
- Must be prepared to work shifts.
- Would be advantageous to have experience in the textile industry.
- Would be advantageous to have pressure vessel experience.
- Must be able to function effectively in a pressurised environment and be able to work independently.
- Must be able to produce work of the highest standard.
- Must be able to interact with production and maintenance teams.
- Must comply to safety, health and environmental requirements in the workplace.
