Our client in the agricultural sector is looking for a Food Manufacturing Factory Supervisor to join their team in the Nelspruit area.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 and any Food Safety qualifications would be an advantage
• Must have own transport and valid driver’s license
• Computer literate
• Fluent in English and African language
• Experience with the following:
• Supervising and coordinating the activities of factory staff
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
• Inspecting raw materials and equipment to ensure their quality and functionality
• Scheduling regular maintenance and cleaning of production equipment
• Implementing production schedules to meet demand and minimize waste
• Training employees on proper food handling procedures to maintain cleanliness and safety
• Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to improve efficiency
  Maintaining records of production quantities, ingredient usage, and waste to monitor costs
• Investigating and resolving any issues that arise in the production process
• Working closely with other departments, such as procurement and distribution, to ensure a smooth operation
