Foreman Mechanic

Our client has an opportunity available for a Foreman Mechanic based in the Northern Cape.

Requirements:

• Matric
• Trade certificate as a boilermaker, fitter or millwright.
• N4 certificate in Engineering studies.
• Basic rigging certificate would be advantageous.
• Working on heights certificate would be advantageous.
• 2 years Management or Supervisory experience.
• 3 years Engineering or Maintenance Operations experience within a production or mining environment.
• Valid code B driver’s license.

Responsibilities:

• Assist to coordinate, implement, control, and monitor change plans.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Implement operational plans and plan team activities.
• Engineering maintenance to ensure production efficiency.
• Provide input in budget planning processes and monitor expenses.
