Role Overview:
We are seeking a Strategic Foundry Manager to lead and optimize our Foundry operations. This role is ideal for an individual with a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills, ready to drive innovation, improve processes, and ensure operational excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:

o Drive improvements in foundry processes, productivity, and output quality.
o Utilize lean manufacturing principles and data-driven strategies to minimize waste and enhance efficiency.

o Develop and implement strategies to ensure the foundry remains competitive and aligned with industry best practices.
o Stay abreast of technological advancements in foundry operations and spearhead initiatives to adopt new technologies.

o Ensure all products meet stringent quality standards and customer specifications.

Requirements:
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced qualifications are advantageous.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in foundry operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the automotive or related manufacturing sector.
Technical Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of aluminium casting processes.
Skills:
Strong leadership and people management abilities.
Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficient in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
