Fraud and Ethics Officer

SUMMARY:
Gijima Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Fraud and Ethics Officer to uphold the highest ethical standards  by ensuring compliance with laws and policies, preventing
fraud and corruption, and managing the declaration and handling of gifts.

Key Requirements:

• Qualifications:
  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Law, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, or a related field.
  • Ethics Officer Certification Programme (EOCP) or an equivalent certification.
• Experience:
  
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Ethics Officer or in a similar role.
• Skills and Knowledge:
  
  • Strong understanding of ethical principles, legal frameworks, and anti-corruption practices.
  • Expertise in ethics management.
  • Proficient in general administration and business improvement principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office programs.
  • Demonstrates a high level of integrity with the ability to manage sensitive information confidentially.

• Design and execute the Annual Fraud Prevention and Anti-Corruption Strategy.
• Conduct periodic fraud risk assessments and maintain the Fraud Risk Register.
• Ensure adherence to policies on conflicts of interest, external employment, gifts, donations, sponsorships, and related matters.
• Provide guidance on ethical concerns and manage the Fraud Hotline.
• Deliver fraud and ethics training while leading awareness initiatives.
• Promote and cultivate a culture of strong corporate governance.
• Prepare and manage reporting on Ethics, Fraud, and Anti-Corruption activities.
