A SaaS startup, that is a spin-out of a household name in Aberdeen, is looking for Front End Developers at mid and senior level to join the team. Having only officially been a business for just over a year now, they already have around 200 people and have big plans for growth over the next few years.
The company operate within the Energy sector and already have an impressive clientele. They are using technology to change the industry and can offer you the opportunity to work on some super interesting Greenfield projects. They have the mentality of a startup but the backing of a well-established company - they're basically a startup on steroids!
The company are working with a very modern tech stack including JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, RXJS, GraphQL and more. As a Front End Developer, you'll be expected to have strong HTML, CSS & JavaScript skills. They'll also need you to have experience with any JavaScript library/framework. It'd obviously be ideal if your experience was with Angular but they're happy to look at people with any other JavaScript framework/library experience including React.js, Vue.js, Ember.js and more. Once you join, they'll expect you to get up to speed with Angular & TypeScript. The rest of the tech stack the company uses includes Java, Spring, Kubernetes, Azure, GCP, Terraform and more - you'll have the opportunity to upskill in any of these areas or you can stick with Front End Development.
You'll be joining a highly skilled team of over 50 Developers and will have the opportunity to work on an exciting new platform. They have a really modern office in Aberdeen with an onsite gym and lots of snacks and amenities. They're very flexible but are looking to adopt a hybrid approach long-term so they would ideally like to hire people in commutable distance of the office.
The salary on offer for the role is up to £55,000 but they can be flexible with this if you're looking for a little more. There are great benefits too, including: strong pension, private healthcare, contribution towards home broadband and mobile phone and much more.
