SUMMARY:
GUEST LIAISON AND FRONT OF HOUSE
PURPOSE
To support the hospitality team and sell our accommodation offerings to the best of your ability while ensuring a hospitable client experience from first point of contact to any post stay communications.

POSITION INFO:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Willing to adhere to any task given by superior within reason.
Assist and manage enquiries regarding accommodation
Make sure that all correspondence with clients regarding bookings are kept up to date and are accurate.
Attend to special guest needs and requests that are within reason.
Manage and submit accommodation invoices to the financial department.
General admin duties – including updating of RoomRaccoon.
Ensure accommodation bookings required for weddings and conferences are properly allocated and are according to BEO.
Liaise with Night Manager/ functions/ restaurant/ chef regarding guest requests and plans.
Make sure that guests settle all bills upon check-out.
Manage Housekeeping department. Ensuring they work efficiently up to our standards, communicating with the Hospitality Manager and FOH Manager. 
Be friendly and willing to do what is needed and have respect towards your company and coworkers.
Assisting Wedding Co-Ordinator where necessary

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work irregular hours, on weekends and public holidays.
Great interpersonal and supervisory skills.
Team orientation.
Enjoy working with people and focus on great customer service.
Attention to detail.
Strong organizational and management skills.
Solid administrative and communication skills (by phone, email, writing and in person).
Presents themselves in a professional manner
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in English & Afrikaans
Systematic approach to daily, weekly & monthly tasks
Can commute to work reliably, including public holidays and weekends.
 
 The ideal start date would be the 27th of January but latest would be the 10th of February.
Leave: 15 days per annum
