Overview
We are looking for a vibrant and passionate Front of House Manager to join our team in Umhlanga, this role will be perfect for someone who enjoys art and working with people from all walks of life, if you come from the hospitality industry and have a passion for it this might just be the role for you


Minimum Requirements:
Qualification related to the Hospitality industry
5 years previous experience in a restaurant or similar role within a 5-star establishment or equivalent
Excellent command of the English language and great customer relations/ service skills
Must be well groomed, energized, organized, ambitious, dependable, courteous, and flexible
Effective complaint handling skills, service recovery skills and diligence
Knowledgeable on restaurant service standards, and table side service
Team leader, excellent with staff and the ability to work well under pressure
Must be charismatic, energetic, enthusiastic, and driven to succeed
Must be willing to work extra hours when required
To take personal responsibility for any guest situations, seeing the situation through until a positive resolution is established.
Computer literate

Duties and Responsibilities:
Greeting and welcoming guest, answering calls, and directing as needed
Managing walk in, on- line and telephonic bookings including deposits and seating
To lead and organize the front office and restaurant team, to set and maintain standards and to strive to always keep improving standards whilst maintaining budget and gross profit.
Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the team members and resources of the bisque and restaurant for the efficient, well-prepared, and profitable service of bisque, food, and beverages.
To efficiently administer and action daily mail, staff rosters, leave forms and other paperwork that is required to ensure accurate records.
Manage shifts which include daily decision making, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness.
Responsible for operating the restaurant within the policies and procedures as set out in the standard operating procedures.
To ensure the guests receive the highest level of food and beverage service by establishing random checks and ascertaining customer’s satisfaction
To ensure that your outlet is following correct billing procedures so that all revenue is correctly allocated and recorded
Effective stock control
Ordering, receiving, and controlling of stock
Training of staff etc.
