6-12 Month Locum
A well-established Medical Practice in Lyndhurst, Johannesburg, seeks a skilled and compassionate General Practitioner to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated medical professional passionate about providing high-quality care to elderly patients.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00–14:00.
These hours provide an excellent work-life balance, making them ideal for professionals with busy schedules or new parents. The flexible hours also offer the potential to grow the business if desired.
Additionally, this opportunity is perfect for anyone seeking valuable experience, particularly those interested in pursuing a Geriatric Diploma or enhancing their skills in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive geriatric assessments and management.
- Monitoring chronic conditions and ongoing medical care.
- Providing compassionate, quality patient-centered care.
Requirements:
- MBChB or equivalent qualification.
- Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
- Medical Indemnity Insurance
- Experience in geriatric care is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A genuine interest in working with the elderly population.
