SUMMARY:
Our Client, a company with a focus on Gaming Software Architecture, Solutions, Media/Marketing and Online campaigns is currentlyon the market for a well rounded and multi skilled Gaming Officer (Marketing) to join their growing team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities/Key Performance Areas:

Product & Sales Support
  • Directly support the Sales team, Service, and customers with technical product questions and recommending game configurations and mixes.
  • Develop compelling prize tables, game rules and regulations.
  • Work with the Marketing team to ensure game collateral is delivered on time and correct to specifications.
  • Create and assist Sales with strategic customer product presentations
  • Support regional tradeshows and customer events
  • Become an expert on our customers, competitors, and players.
  • Prioritize markets within the region. Find efficient and creative ways to satisfy jurisdictions with minimal custom development.
  • Filter information and represent the market, requirements, and trends via reports, research projects, analysis, and strategic internal interactions.
  • Provide regular competitive intelligence information.
  • Provide specific market information to the marketing, helping to define product requirements and strategy based on overall market vision and goals.
  • Provide targeted player profiles, merchandising requests, competitive intelligence, top-performing themes, new competitor launches, trends and gaps, game-specific and desired game quantity timing. .
  • Develop all Sport spool fixtures, results, roll overs and game management.
  • Create all technical or informative/ancillary supporting documents when needed.
  • Post-rollout: ensure that product is placed correctly. Visit installations in the field. Make recommendations to attain maximum game performance.
  • Assistance with field incidents and crisis management.
  • Content and Product Management Support
  • Stakeholder in providing feedback on game design.
Player Knowledge
  • Learn and define nuances and differences within various markets and player segments, documenting player demographics and player behaviours
  • Know the competitor and build game portfolio that is competitive in the market vs competitors.
  • Assist in product training for the Sales team
  • Recommend product mixes
  • Develop product strategies anticipation competitive landscape
Strategic planning
  • Providing insight into the marketing strategy for the product in line with company objectives.
  • Co-coordinating campaigns from an analytical standpoint.
  • Planning and implementing promotional campaigns
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
  • Analyzing potential strategic partner relationships for game/company marketing.
  • Position the messaging for the product
  • Provide companies with vital information to help them make decisions on the promotion, distribution, and design of products or services.
Research
  • Act as point of first reference for all product/games.
  • Related enquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues in Research and Regulatory to address any issues that may arise.
  • Review the design of market research projects to assess customer attitudes towards the current product range and new product introductions. Either conduct this research with in-house staff or manage an outside agency i.e. initial identification of suitable partner, definition of responsibilities, communication plan, divisions of responsibility, milestones, contract with company, review transcripts and reports, and recommend action plans from the research.
  • Conduct desk research to determine opportunities in the market place.
  • Work on market strategies and implement those tactics for identified markets.
  • Develop Analytic library and maintain it
  • Conduct channel needs gap analysis.
  • Advise on pricing strategies.
  • Examine prices, methods of marketing, and sales.
  • Analyze data on past sales to predict future sales.
  • Develop research initiatives to determine how to increase public demand for the Group’s products.
Trade marketing & sale support
  • Conduct channel needs gap analysis.
  • Develop processes to review the retail and vendor channel information.
  • Responsible for reviewing product data to ensure that the field force is kept up to date on new developments regarding the companies or competitors’ products
Draw management
  • To develop an annual, quarterly, weekly content plan for sign off.
  • To work closely with play officers to develop and optimize draw procedures for each of the games.
  • To attend to all draw duty requirements as specified in the policies & procedures (will be required to work after hours).
Public relations, Call Centre and Social Media
  • To work closely with Corporate Affairs team and social media support staff, plus the Game helpline to ensure all product related queries are verified and answered
Marketing support
  • Review and add input to the product strategy and roadmap
  • Develop regional sales and game strategy to optimize marketing engagement.
  • Support sales with necessary product knowledge and technical expertise
  • Develop sales tools and sales training material
  • Supply all department that require latest research and marketing information
  • Drive marketing tactics/plans/activities on an ongoing basis to drive improvement in sales and profitability
  • To work closely with legal and Senior Product Manager to ensure compliance with NLC regulatory requirements in line with licensee agreement.
  • Liaison with the field force and Trade marketing to assess the response to and suitability of current promotional material and to ensure that the printed promotional material is being used optimally.
  • Keep partners up-to-date with the new products and enhancements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs.
  • Assist in the planning and organizing of product launch event, sales training, and other marketing events for partners and customers.
Budget management
  • Adhere to internal Budget guidelines when necessary
  • Monitor and manage game development/enhancements with Department and 3rd party providers.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • University degree from an accredited academic institution
  • 4+ years’ experience with marketing and product maintenance
  • 2+ years’ experience in a product marketing position within the gaming industry (an advantage)
  • Strong communication and writing skills a must:

  • Casino Operational experience strongly encouraged
