JOB DESCRIPTION:

Short Summary:

The main responsibility of this position is the cleaning, loading, and offloading of trucks.

Responsibilities:

Assist in cleaning and loading the trucks to ensure productivity.
Assist in cleaning and preparing the tankers.
Ensure that all loads are covered after loading.
Assist in washing the cans, drums, flow bins, and filter bags.
Ensure the cleanliness of the loading and offloading areas of all incoming trucks.
Ensure the cleaning of loading equipment, stores, and the wash bay is according to the cleaning schedule.
Report all quality, health, and safety-related problems immediately to the Dispatch Supervisor.
Assist the Dispatch Supervisor and Team Leader with ad hoc tasks.
Comply with the safety, food safety, and environmental procedure and as per the SOILL Policy.

Key Competencies:

Education and Experience

Minimum of a Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
Literate in English and Afrikaans
Forklift experience will be an advantage

Interpersonal Skills

Good time management
Disciplined and reliable
Must be able to work in a team and alone
