General Office Administrator and Cleaning

POSITION INFO:
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the smooth functioning of the office environment. Primary duties include cleaning offices, kitchens, restrooms, and other common areas, preparing tea and coffee, assisting with general administrative tasks and reception duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS
South African citizen.
Senior certificate (NQF 4).
Previous cleaning experience is required.
Administrative experience will be beneficial.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Use various cleaning methods to clean offices.
Service and clean restrooms.
Replenishes restroom supplies.
Gather and empty refuse daily.
Polishes all furniture in the office.
Clean equipment using solvents, brushes, rags, and power cleaning equipment.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical and power equipment to prevent damage to floors or fixtures.
Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
Equipment must be used within the Health and Safety regulations and faults must be reported to management.
Take responsibility for own health and safety as well as colleagues.
Replenishing of refreshments.
Assist with meeting and event preparation, which may include food and beverage preparation, etc.
Take orders and prepare beverages as per the request from clients/vendors visiting the office.
Maintaining vehicles and updating register.
Arranging courier collections.
