Geologist (Manganese + Chrome Experience)

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a skilled Geologist to join their team. The successful candidate will have strong CHROME and MANGANESE experience and be willing to travel between Rustenburg and various sites in the Northern Cape.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and coordinating rock engineering interventions and processes, ensuring adherence to best practices and legislative requirements.

**South African Citizens and those living in the area will be preferred**

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities include:

• Providing technical support to operational personnel with design layouts and support systems
• Ensuring effective service delivery and support to mining operations
• Actively participating in creating a safe mining environment
• Maintaining effective stakeholder relationships

• BSc degree or diploma in mining engineering or a related science degree
• Chamber of Mine Strata Control Certificate
• Chamber of Mines Rock Mechanics Certificate
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in strata control/rock engineering in the coal mining.
• Chrome and manganese experience.
