SUMMARY:
Our client (Rivonia), a civil engineering and environmental consulting services firm is recruiting a Geotechnical Draftsman.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Main role:
 The draftsperson would provide drafting services to engineers and engineering geologists within the department, by generating plans, sketches, 3D models and detailed construction drawings for geotechnical work.

Minimum requirements:
  • Suitable drafting qualification/certificate in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in drafting, specifically in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Drafting of plans and sketches for inclusion in geotechnical reports.
  • Drafting of detailed construction drawings for geotechnical engineering works.
  • Compiling 3D models.
  • Extracting information from 2D and 3D drawings/models.
