Purpose of the Job:
The Grade A CCTV Operator will report to the Key Accounts Manager. The primary responsibility of the Grade A CCTV Operator is to ensure an efficient operation of the Control Room.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Enforce the Company’s ‘Code of Conduct’
• Ensure that the CCTV Monitors, linked to the respective cameras are fully operational. If not operational, to action via informing Management and generating work orders
• Conduct CCTV Investigations pertaining to issues and transgressions on the Estate
• Carry out duties and tasks as per the Site Job Description
• Should there be influx of incoming telephone calls, assist by answering the calls to avoid drop calls
• Handle and resolve Resident / Client / Service Provider complaints
• Ensure that all follow ups for investigations are concluded and feedback given to Switchboard to liaise with the Complainant.
• Ensure that all handing over queries is actioned timeously.
• Must multi-task from Switchboard to CCTV Operations
• Responsible for Control Room related investigations and feedback
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• PSIRA Grade A Registered
• Matric Certified
• Solid Computer Proficiency
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the Security Industry
• 3 to 5 years of Control Room/C.C.T.V. Experience/ Call centre experience
• Estate Security background will be advantageous
• Electronic Equipment experience will be advantageous
• First Aid, Fire Fighting, Health and Safety REP training will be advantageous
• Knowledge of the Security Industry regulations including Operational and Client requirements
