Granite Installation Technician
A reputable Stone and Granite company based in George is currently seeking an experienced Granite Installation Technician to join their team. The perfect candidate for this role must have at least 3 years’ experience in design, slab selection, fabrication, installation and, maintenance.
Measure and Template Countertops (Granite, Quartz, Solid Surface and Laminate)
Evaluating countertops during on-site visits and performing repairs as applicable
Analyzing, assessing and giving direction on customer complaint resolutions
Communicating effectively with the fabrication shop
Operating basic power tools (hand polishers, chop saw, angle grinder & gorilla grips) while repairing countertops
Driving the company vehicle to all appointments
Providing outstanding customer service to end users
Valid Drivers License and own reliable vehicle
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a field service position required
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to read blueprints and tape measures
Must be able to drive, valid Driver’s License required
Ability to lift heavy weights daily
Ability to bend and twist while working
Ability to work extended hours
Ability to drive for long periods of time
Performing other duties as assigned by management
