About the role

• Design Support: Assist the design team in creating compelling visual assets for signage, vehicle branding, print, and digital platforms, including logos, brand identities, marketing collateral, social media graphics, website layouts, and promotional materials.
• Concept Development: Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop creative concepts that effectively communicate our client's brand messages and objectives across various mediums.
• Client Projects: Contribute to the execution of client projects from concept to completion, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards, deadlines, and client expectations for signage, vehicle branding, and promotional materials.
• Brand Guidelines: Assist in the development and maintenance of brand guidelines for clients, ensuring consistency and coherence across all brand touchpoints, including signage, vehicle branding, and promotional materials.
• Research and Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas and insights to our projects, particularly in the realm of signage, vehicle branding, and promotional materials.
• Software Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite(Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and CorelDRAW, as well as other relevant tools, for creating impactful signage, vehicle branding, and promotional materials.
• Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with team members to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and feedback, particularly regarding signage, vehicle branding, and promotional materials.
• Learning and Growth: Actively seek opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge in graphic design, branding, and related areas through training, workshops, and mentorship, with a focus on signage, vehicle branding, and promotional materials.

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• South African unemployed youth aged between 18 and 34.
• Must not have taken part in the YES Programme before.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and CorelDRAW.
• Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Passion for design and eagerness to learn and grow.
