SUMMARY:

Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.
About the YES Initiative
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.

Position: Graphic Designer

Stipend: R5500,00

Location: New Germany (Pinetown)

About the role:
Are you a tech-savvy individual with a passion for providing excellent customer support? We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team and help ensure the smooth operation of our organization's desktop / computer systems and providing technical assistance to our employees and retail stores.
If you are a proactive problem-solver who enjoys troubleshooting hardware and software issues, this is the perfect opportunity for you to showcase your expertise and contribute to our success.
Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues, both in person and remotely.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, operating systems, and applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems promptly to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement solutions for complex technical issues.
Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, configurations, and user issues.
Assist in the setup and support of audio-visual equipment and conference room systems.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and industry developments related to desktop support.

Requirements:

South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34
Must not have participated on the YES Programme before
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in relevant IT fields will be to your advantage.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
