SUMMARY:
Group Accountant/Financial Officer required to join a retailer based in Ballito. Required to carry out the accounting for a group of six companies.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

At least 10 years experience taking books to Balance Sheet preferably in a trading environment.
Matric.
Degree or diploma an advantage.
Expect a minimum commitment of 5 years.
Knowledge of Kerridge Commercial Software - K8 & V21.
Have own transport.
A hands on approach preferable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare Books - Budgets, Trading accounts including Balance Sheets monthly.
Prepare, maintain & depreciate asset register on a monthly basis.
Prepare & present monthly reports.
Manage & oversee the financial aspects of the businesses, liaise with banks etc.
Prepare, submit & pay all statuary requirements monthly. Oversee & ensure Drs & Crs staff.
Review & Submit S & W schedules to outsourced payroll. Reconcile TB & all control accounts.
Prepare & submit group incentive calculations to payroll.
