POSITION INFO:

About the Role:

We seek a highly experienced and results-oriented Group Financial Controller to join our client’s finance team. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of financial reporting and analysis.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury functions.
Oversee the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards (IFRS).
Provide financial and strategic advice to senior management.
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.

Required Skills:

BCom in Financial Accounting (or similar) and Honours degree (advantageous).
3+ years of post-article experience in a commercial environment.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial modelling – essential
Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector
Knowledge of ERP systems
Experience with financial reporting software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience with foreign exchange, procurement, and international trade.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
