Growth Specialist / Marketing Executive

SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Growth Specialist with demonstrated Acquisition experience at an intermediate level. Previous experience in the fintech space will be advantageous.

Location
The candidate must reside in Cape Town or surrounding areas and have the ability to work remotely. On occasion the team will be required to get together as a chosen location.

Essential Criteria
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Science or a related field.
• Experience: 3 – 5 years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing or a similar role.
• Track record: Proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
• Remote Work: Ability to work remotely.
• Fintech Experience: Experience in the fintech industry is beneficial.
• Network and Connections: Bringing a robust network of industry connections, allowing for enhanced partnership opportunities and marketing reach.

Skills and experience
• Data Analytics Proficiency: Experience using Google Analytics and Amazon Quicksight to uncover insights and drive informed decisions.
• SEO/SEM Expertise: Deep understanding of SEO best practices and SEM strategies using tools like Google AdWords to boost our online presence.
• Content Marketing: Exceptional writing and editing skills, experience with WordPress CMS, and the ability to manage and execute content calendars that captivate and convert.
• Campaign Management: Proven track record with tools like Campaign Manager, and expertise in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Technical Understanding: Basic knowledge of mobile and web technologies, APIs, and UX design to seamlessly work with product and engineering teams.
• Performance Tracking: Skilful in setting KPIs, using analytics software, and creating insightful dashboards to monitor and optimize growth metrics.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture, develop actionable plans, and adapt strategies to market changes.
• Creativity and Innovation: Creative problem-solving skills and a knack for designing unique marketing campaigns.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and experience in cross-functional collaboration to align growth initiatives with company goals.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, along with compelling presentation abilities to share your vision and results.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, quickly learning new tools and techniques.
• Customer-Centric Approach: Empathy and a focus on enhancing the customer journey, driven by the ability to gather and interpret feedback.
