Guest House Manager

Our client in the hospitality industry is currently looking to employ a Guest House Manager.

This will be a live- in position and based in Addo (Eastern Cape).

Purpose of the position:

The general purpose of this job is to ensure all guest house business operations, including customer services are up to the standard of the owner. Excellent team leadership skills and management of staff.

Responsibilities include, bot not limited to:

• Managing daily operations of the guesthouse: checking guests in, checking guests out, hospitality service
• Implement systems and procedures to ensure the successful operation of the guesthouse and teams involved
• Building and maintaining relationships with agents and suppliers
• Manage bookings; OTAs; ensure rates are market-related and updated
• Reporting (revenue; occupancy; sales; expenses)
• Generate new sales and revenue

Qualifications:

• Hospitality qualification (essential)
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in the hospitality industry (essential)
• Supervisory experience (preferred)
• Revenue management (essential)
• Sales experience (advantage)
• Marketing experience (advantage)
• Knowledge of Nightsbridge, bookings.com, Semper, Pilot and Microsoft Office, Microsoft excel
