HR Clerk

SUMMARY:
Our client in Killarney Gardens is seeking an HR Clerk to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (BCom HR Management or National HR Diploma preferred) and 3-5 years of HR experience, with a solid understanding of BCEA, local labor laws, and Good Practice. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, along with strong reporting and analytical skills, is essential. The role requires handling disciplinary hearings, issuing warnings, and maintaining confidentiality. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail are key. The successful candidate will be deadline-driven, adaptable, solution-oriented, and committed to integrity and professionalism.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree (BCom HR Management or National HR Diploma preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources with a strong understanding of BCEA, local labor laws, and Good Practice
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and skilled in Excel dashboarding, reporting, and analysis
• Experience in handling disciplinary hearings, issuing warnings, and maintaining confidentiality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional approach to clients, staff, and institutions
• Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and adaptability

• Assist with the general administrative tasks for the HR Department
• Assist with the full recruitment cycle by drafting adverts, advertising, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, interviewing for entry level positions and conducting employment checks.
• Drafting memos, policies, facilitate training.
• On boarding of new employees as and when required.
• Maintain and manage the personal records of employees on matters relating to wages, leave and training.
• Assist training and development with administrative functions as and when required.
• Capturing leave and filing.

• Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
• Saturdays: Occasionally
