SUMMARY:
RedEmber Recruitment is seeking to hire an HR Manager based at the client in Woodstock.

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

Recruitment.
Training (Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge)
HR Administration including HR Reporting (HR-specific measurable)
Personnel files.
HR policies and procedures (develop, implement, and update)
Job descriptions (develop, implement, and update)
Organograms (develop and maintain)
WCA/IOD reporting.

Payroll functions include:

Processing the salary payroll.
Overseeing and approving the wage payroll.
Overseeing the time and attendance system.
Liaising with Employee Benefit funds.

Industrial relations include:

All disciplinary and Grievance processes/incidents.
Interaction and liaison with Trade Union officials.
Bargain Council/CCMA representation.
Legal Compliance, including all Labour Legislation and reporting requirements.

Internal relationships:

Senior Managers
Department Managers
All employees

External relationships:

Recruitment agencies.
Training service providers.
Employee Benefits Providers.
NTBC.
SACTWU.
Compensation Commissioner.

Requirements:

HR Diploma.
A minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
For payroll experience, Sage Cloud would be advantageous.
Bargaining Council experience (NTBC would be advantageous)
Experience in trade union interaction
Computer literacy (MS Office).

Be able to work independently.
