SUMMARY:
Urgently require the expertise of a HR officer with excellent relationship building capabilities on operational level with excellent communication skills. Min Qualification Diploma or Degree in HR. Min 3 years experience in similar role. Very with Labour related legislations, familiar with time and attendance systems and payroll administration (Sage VIP). Must be able to work independently.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements 
  • Degree / Diploma in Human Resource Management or relevant
  • Minimum 3 years exp. as a HR Officer
  • Proven success track record of building strong employee relationships with operational staff
  • EXCELLENT communication skills
  • Must come from Manufacturing or similar environment that work with a “clock-in” System
  • Knowledgeable on labour related legislations
  • Experience on payroll (SAGE VIP) and time & attendance systems (Not negotiable)
  • Must be able to work independently without being micro-managed
  • Excellent Computer literacy

Job Description
  • Leave administration and planning.
  • Workforce planning and recruitment of junior staff.
  • Manage the onboarding and exiting process of employees.
  • General administration, including but not limited to:
    • Ensuring data integrity on all systems (payroll and time & attendance).
    • Employee records are organized and up to date.
    • Reporting to senior management.
    • Staff noticeboards are up to date.
  • Coordinate Employment Equity meetings and ensure reporting is done.
  • Coordinate Training & Development and ensure records are kept.
  • Assist management with Performance Management of junior staff.
  • Coordinate OHS in the workplace.
  • Drive wellness initiatives.
  • Build strong and trusting relationships with staff.
    • Assist employees and managers with any queries or concerns.
    • Be the driving force of a sustainable work environment and positive culture.
  • Assist management with disciplinary process and identify and patterns of transgressions.
  • Ensure regular staff checks are coordinated and done.
  • Assist with the management of time and attendance.
