POSITION INFO:

My client a leading company providing expertise in Microbiology and Consulting with a broadened footprint of scientific specialities in Chemistry, Research, Education, Labelling and Sensory offers an exciting opportunity for a well rounded HR Officer/Generalist in their Cape Town (Claremont) offices and laboratory.

My client requires a young, vibrant candidate with exceptional people skills.

My client needs a suitably qualified Human Resource Officer to support in all Human Resources Operations and ensure alignment to the organisational business goals. 

The role will report to the Senior Human Resource Manager.

Requirements:

A formal qualification in Human Resources. Bachelors or BTech Degree or National Diploma from an accredited university ESSENTIAL

Valid Driver’s License

A minimum of 3 to 5 years in a Human Resource Generalist Role

Must be highly proficient in Excel

Experience in a food safety, chemical or laboratory environment will be highly beneficial

Must be able to communicate and drive the HR agenda with the relevant department managers.

SA Citizens only

Must be Criminal Clear

Must be fluent in English and familiar with basic Afrikaans

Must have excellent organisational skills combined with team building skills

Must reside in the Greater Cape Town area
